**Summary**

We are seeking a passionate SENCO / 1:1 Support professional to join our team at Three Bears Day Nursery. In this role, you will provide tailored support to children with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the best possible care and educational experience. Your contributions will be vital in fostering an inclusive atmosphere that promotes learning and development.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide one-on-one support to children with special educational needs in accordance with their individual learning plans.
- Collaborate with Room Leaders and the Management Team to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Implement strategies based on Applied Behaviour Analysis to support children's development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to build strong partnerships.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting support as needed.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging activities that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Prepare and complete EHCP and other referrals

**Requirements**:

- Experience working in childcare or early years education, particularly with children who have special educational needs.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage behaviour effectively and promote positive interactions among children.

9am - 2pm Monday-Friday All Year Around

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £13.55 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
