We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Primary Care team at HMP Featherstone, a catergory**C mens**prison located in **Staffordshire**

**Hours**

The site currently offers bank shifts.

**What you'll be doing**:
As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care

Bank Rate: £13.76

Enhanced rate (weekends etc) - £15.71

**Qualifications required**
- NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills and IT literacy
- Ability to work within a busy environment
- Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment
