We are looking to recruit a **Grounds Maintenance Operative** located **Ipswich** to cover the surrounding areas. You will be achieving high standards for the maintenance of a variety of sites.

This role is being offered on a full-time basis. Hours of work are: 7 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.

**What you'll be doing..**.

To operate a range of commercial equipment including ride-on mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, and line marking equipment
Ensure all machinery, equipment and vehicles are well maintained at all times
Ensuring all machinery, equipment, and vehicles used are clean, present, safely stored, free from rubbish, and fit for purpose.
Initial marking out of sports pitches
Over marking of sports pitches
Mowing grass areas
Strimming
Pruning shrubs and hedges with mechanical and hand-operated equipment.
Weeding
Leaf collecting
Edging
Digging/forking of beds and borders
Deadheading of flowers
Planting new areas
Soil preparation
Fertiliser spreading
- ** A driving license is essential**:

- **Trailer experience beneficial**:

- PA1 and PA6 would be desirable
- CS30 & CS31 would be desirable
