**Head of IT Infrastructure**
As our Head of IT Infrastructure you will lead and be responsible for the strategic direction, delivery and ongoing support of the internal systems and services used by the Charity to deliver on its mission to support disabled children and their families.
Manage specific IT projects needed to deliver on the IT strategy based on agreed business case proposals to ensure effective usage and compliance with security policies
Implement the appropriate processes, training, skills, and support for team members to allow for efficiency and development of the team
Newlife makes extensive use of IT in the delivery of its services and is currently embarking on a digital transformation project, migrating several services into the cloud. Further projects will be required to develop the services need to support us.
**We are looking for**
We are looking for an experienced IT professional who can lead the IT function during a period of change as we look to strengthen the use of technology and ensure that we have suitable resources to deliver, either in-house or through the use of partners andoutsourcing.
Applicants will need to have both managerial as well as strong technical experience across solutions, support, infrastructure, and networks. You should have good change management experience and knowledge of ITSM and ITIL.
As we use many 3rd party solutions and service providers you will need to be able to demonstrate strong relationship skills as well as working with our various in-house teams.
We’re looking for an ambitious and dedicated IT professional to play a critical part in shaping the overarching technology strategy to support the charity to achieve its ambitions and deliver its strategy. Implementing robust processes, and new service deliverymodels and playing a key role in IT strategy decision making.

Our income is generated by both fundraising and our retail stores. Our stock is new and donated by retailers, allowing us to create a heaven for bargain hunters and savvy fashionista shoppers who want high street products at discount prices.
Location: Cannock, Staffordshire with travel to other sites
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

**Salary**: Up to £45,000 plus Car Allowance
