We are a small transport company looking for a fit, enthusiastic, positive individual to add to our team. On a day to day basis your duties will be to complete a vehicle inspection, ensure your PDA device is ready and working, then complete your full days work to be best of your ability.

The work involves manual handing white goods (EG washing machines, fridge freezers, American style fridge freezers, TV's, tumble dryers). Some of our customers pay for installation/recycling of old appliances, which would include plumbing/un-plumbing washing machines, reversing doors of fridge freezers, removing doors of American style fridges to allow them to pass through door frames etc and installing TV's to a stand. All training and equipment is provided.

The rota and days to be worked would be discussed. We operate 7 days a week. Wages are dependent on performance. We offer a basic daily rate of £130 however this can be increased providing all performance scores are where they need to be.

MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 21 FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload white goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and proper functioning
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle

Qualifications:

- Valid commercial driving license (7.5-tonne - Class 2 or Grandfather rights)
- (Ideal but not essential) Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting, bending, and carrying heavy items
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

**Skills**:

- Commercial driving experience
- Ability to drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle (with a valid CPC card and Tachograph card)
- Knowledge of delivery driver procedures and best practices

**Salary**: From £130.00 per day
