Calling all night owlsWe’re looking for a Waking Nights Security Officer (known by us as a Housing Concierge) to join our team and ensure that our buildings and customers are safe and secure.
As a Security Officer, you’ll get involved in lots of different activities which will include monitoring CCTV, regularly patrolling the premises, monitoring visitors to and from the building and ensuring tenancy conditions and service rules are adhered to. We’llalso show you how to work in a person-centred way to ensure that through the night our customers are happy and safe.
**Where you’ll work**
You'll work at our service that supports customers who have faced problems of homelessness or have been at risk of homelessness.
Our service covers the Allerdale area, but specifically the towns of Workington and Cockermouth. So, you’ll need to be able to drive between each of our services and we’ll pay for your mileage (currently 45p per mile).
**Working hours**
You’ll work on a rota basis between the hours of 8pm and 8am. You’ll take your turn working weekends and bank holidays.
You can also work for us on a more flexible basis by joining our bank.You might be looking for some extra work outside of your main job or more casual hours which you can pick and choose to fit around your current commitments. Let us know if you are lookingfor bank.
