Here at CDER Group we are currently looking for a dynamic, fun, and experienced Operational Trainer to join our expanding Group Training Department.

The role is flexible and can be located at our Darlington or Bolton office, and with Hybrid working there is also flexibility to work some days from home.

**Responsibilities**
- Reporting to the Group Training Manager, the Operational Trainer successfully delivers the CDER Group training content portfolio. From new employee onboarding to management development, the operational trainer has extensive training knowledge of delivering training solutions to different audiences.
- A passionate facilitator, the Operational Trainer confidently adapts their delivery style from classroom to virtual, embracing not only different training delivery vehicles but also introducing new and exciting accelerated learning techniques, to enhance and improve existing training programs.
- An eye for design and a firm grasp of the training cycle the Operational Trainer competently develops new and exciting operational training content in line with business needs and standards.
- With at least level 2 taking control of goods certification / experience (or be happy to complete this as part of development) the Operational Trainer will be the Group Field Operations SME.

**Personal qualities, experience and skills**
- Confident in training design and development
- Proficient in the use of training design software
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Adaptable facilitator, adapting to the delivery needs of the business and audience
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with a sound understanding of compliance
- Flexible to travel and deliver training across different sites (up to two nights twice a month)
- CIPD qualified / Training qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a training professional
- Insights / behavioral psychometric accreditation / experience
- Level 2 Taking control of goods experience
- LMS administration experience would be great, e-learning development would be fantastic
