As a Business Development Manager, you will be an integral part of the growth of this business. Your role will be required to identify and generate new business. You will be expected to build on and maintain relationships with new customers, increasing awarenessof the company and its products and services.
This position is ideal for someone who is looking for a great long-term role and an exciting time to be part of this new company.
Duties include:
- Generate leads and build relationships with the leads to forge strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls and manage sales cycles to close new business.
- Ensuring the customer is given the best possible product/service for their needs.
**Skills**
You should demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and results-driven
- Construction sales experience to Contractors
- Proven track record of generating new client opportunities in a business-to-business environment
- A proven track record of commercial sales development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills
- Strong networking, business development, and prospecting skills
- Confidence in contacting leads daily
- Excellent written and verbal skills
