Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Newcastle.

We offer a wide-ranging curriculum to our Further Education students, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Management, Countryside and the Environment, Engineering, Equine, Floristry, Motorsport, Outdoor Adventure Sport, Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness, Uniformed Public Services and Veterinary Nursing.

Our aim as a College is to position Askham Bryan as the provider of choice for students, parents, employers and stakeholders. We have a clear vision and strategy as a College and the Head of Marketing will have a crucial role in communicating our aims to the widest audience.

The College is proud of our extensive network of internal and external stakeholders and continued engagement with them and development of that network is a key part of the role. As a key custodian of our brand, the postholder will need to have demonstrable capacity to uphold and develop our public profile through all available channels, both digital and traditional.

The role will encompass a wide variety of functions, including the delivery of an effective student recruitment strategy for all of our provision - including FE, HE, Adult, Commercial and international students. The department are also responsible for the planning, co-ordination and delivery of events for both internal and external stakeholders. The management of Reception at our York site and our central enquiries channels are also key functions within the department.

This is a rare opportunity to join us in a new role that will involve development of a well-established department to ensure effective contribution to the growth of the College.
