Renewables Sales Consultant

We are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist with a Consultative approach to Sales. You will be joining an innovative forward-thinking company offering a number of mechanical, electrical and renewable energy systems to the commercial sector. Based from Home with a probably a visit to HQ in Greater Manchester c. one day per week. The ideal location would be the Midlands or South.
Whilst most of your leads will be incoming enquiries and some from existing business we require someone happy to fulfil a Business Development role, responsible for generating new opportunities and contract opportunities. Any knowledge and existing contacts within the Mechanical and Electrical industry will be advantageous but not essential. We offer training on all of our products and services.
- Excellent Communication and presentation skills at Board lever (written and verbal)
Data analytical skills
An understanding of large financial investments
Excellent time management
Ability to understand market opportunities and develop sales and partner channels
Manage multiple clients at various stages through the sales process
Microsoft Application knowledge - Excel, Word, PowerPoint essential
Background knowledge of M&E projects and Solar Photovoltaics advantageous
Prepare, review, present progress reports to the management team
Ability to work at home and manage their own time
Work with Marketing to target new opportunities
Attend networking and events
