**About the company**

Blue Phoenix are the UK market leader for the processing and sale of IBAA (Incinerator Bottom Ash Aggregate) offering the Construction and Civil Engineering sector a Sustainable alternative to Natural Aggregates. IBA (Incinerator Bottom Ash) is the by-product from Energy from Waste, these are power stations that generate electricity from the combustion of MSW (Household waste) and are a Sustainable alternative to Landfilling.

As a UK business we currently process in the region of 1.5 million tonnes of IBA a per annum and have approximately 200 employees in the UK spread across 11 operational facilities.

**About the role**

Working as part of a team processing IBA to aid in the recovery of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals through the operation of static plant.

Activities include
- Plant patrol, ensuring free flow of material though the processing plants and to aid metal recoveries.
- Ensuring a clean and tidy site is maintained throughout the working day.
- Processing plant inspections/general maintenance and housekeeping duties
- Working as part of the team in all areas of the site
- Reporting any safety concerns or near misses to the site management team
- Forklift truck operations (training given if required)
- Participation in the site Health and Safety meetings

On joining the business there is a clear path of rates and training, everything is detailed with regards to training on offer and how you can improve within the role.

On target earnings (OTE) of £33,000 is based on a starting rate of £10.71ph and includes overtime paid at 1.5 for hours worked in the current shift pattern 06:00-18:00 Monday - Thursday, 06:00-16:00 Friday (Days). Hours non-negotiable.

This can increase with extra overtime from working Saturday mornings etc.

OTE could increase significantly with training allowing progress through the various pay bands available.

Annual medical, Company Pension.

Random drugs and alcohol testing carried out on site.

Holiday - 21 days, plus 8 bank holidays.

**Salary**: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
