Queens View Harbour Care Home is looking to recruit a Team Leader SVQ Level 3 (Nightshift)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new care home which has taken the local market by storm, having only opened in the Summer of 2021. We are delighted to have a fully occupied home, which recently received an incredible report from the Care Inspectorate: 5,5,5,5,4.

This role is for those who want to make a real difference and help support residents and staff to reach their potential. You will be a key team player and will put residents at the heart of everything that you do.

**Team Leader Contract**
- £12.00 per hour
- Contracted to 33-44 hours per week
- Pension
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (Based on a full-time contract)
- PVG paid
- Onsite parking

Team Leader Will Be
- A caring and motivated person.
- Experienced supporting older people, ideally including those living with a dementia and trained in medication.
- Confident and experienced to lead a care team and act as champion for the wellbeing of residents.
- Able to prepare, review and understand a care plan
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

Your key responsibilities will include
- Providing excellent care and support to residents.
- Ensuring high standards are always maintained.
- Supervising, leading and motivating all care assistants in order for the team to function efficiently.
- Assisting residents in all aspects of their care needs.
- Administering medication as instructed.
- Monitoring, responding, and reporting appropriately on the wellbeing of the residents and able to respond in a timely manner to any concerns.
- Supporting and working with care assistants.
- Maintaining good communication and developing effective working relationships with other team members.
