Medical Receptionist

**The team at Wellington House Surgery are looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic receptionist to work with us in our rapidly developing practice.**

**Our Practice - **Situated in the up-and-coming Yorkshire town of Batley, close to the M62 / M1 Motorways. We have a list size of 9,000 patients with a varied patient demographic. We are a GMS, SystmOne Practice.

**Our Team - **7 GPs, 3 ACPs, 1 Paramedic, 2 Practice Nurses and 2 HCAs supported by a friendly and efficient admin team.

**The Role -** As Receptionist working in a fast-paced team environment, the main focus of the role will be being the first point of contact for patients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Answering the telephone
- Greeting visitors / patients and providing excellent customer service
- Booking appointments over the phone and face to face.
- Working in a professional manner and adhering to strict confidentiality procedures at all times.
- Processing prescription requests
- Data Entry
- General administration would also be involved using the full MS Office Package, Word and Excel within the role.

**Experience/Training -**

Experience working with SystmOne would be an advantage but is not essential.

**Hours and remuneration -**

We are currently recruiting a 23-hour position within the practice;
Tuesday & Wednesday 8.00am - 6.00pm with 1 hour lunch

Fridays 8.00am - 1.00pm
