An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our front of house team as a supervisor.

The successful applicant will support the Front of House Manager with day to day responsibilities, supervising staff, ensuring excellent standards and helping to provide leadership in the restaurant.

**What the role entails**:

- Working closely with and supporting the Front of House Manager in the day to day running of the venue
- Providing an excellent customer service focused environment for our customers and leading by example for other team members, showcasing what excellent hospitality and customer service looks like
- Resolving customer issues as they arise in an appropriate and empathetic manner
- Supporting the Front of House Manager where needed with stock control and ordering
- General supervisory duties including ensuring all tasks are delegated to the most suitable people, SOP’s are kept up to date and procedures are followed, assisting with writing rotas
- Hosting the restaurant on a daily basis or running the shift on the bar, management responsibility for the FOH team in the absence of the Front of House Manager, ensuring standards are consistently met, shifts are covered and customers are happy
- Responsibility for opening up or closing down of the restaurant along with cashing up
- Ongoing cocktail/drink development
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness across all areas
- Promoting and ensuring that a safe working environment is maintained at all times in line with Health and Safety guidelines

**What you’ll need**:

- Bar and barista experience is preferred
- Experience of working in a restaurant at a minimum of a supervisory level
- A customer focused, positive, confident, friendly and professional attitude
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and procedures accurately
- Experience using an EPOS desirable including cashing up
- Excellent personal standards and a desire to be the best
- Great communication skills at all levels
- Leadership skills and experience
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Works well in a team and under own initiative
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
