**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development.
- Support the lead nursery staff in managing daily routines and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships and encourage parental involvement.
- Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to the lead staff regarding individual needs and achievements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting, ensuring that all equipment is safe and suitable for use.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills in childcare and early childhood education.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred.
- A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications would be advantageous.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to engage with children at their level.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and respond positively to challenges.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £92.00-£94.70 per day

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
