LSL Property Services’ Estate Agency Division is made up of a number of well-known property industry brands including Your Move & Reeds Rains, that provide every property related service our customers require including sales, lettngs, land, renting, newhomes, mortgages, insurance and more.

We have a new and exciting opportunitiy for an expereinced Data Protection Ananlyst to join our Risk & Governance team based within our head office in Newcastle upon Tyne.

The purpose of this role is to support the Data Protection Officer in the development and delivery of LSL Estate Agency Division (EAD) Data Risk Framework.

Some key responsibles of the role will include:

- Overseeing the effective management of data breaches and events in a complex environment of businesses that make up the Estate Agency Division;
- Support in the management of key privacy such as Data Protection Impact Assessments, Legitimate Interest Assessments and facilitating Records of Processing Activities;
- Managing the Divisions obligations to GDPR Rights Requests including the production of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and customers Right to be Forgotten requests;
- Dealing with Information Requests for customers from third parties
- Validating brand compliance with data protection regulations;
- Supporting the role of Data Protection Officer within Estate Agency Division including contributing to the Data and Information Security Forum and Data Risk Committee.

The role involves managing tasks within multiple work streams and working independently with little or no supervision.
- Experience in working with activities relating to GDPR, PECR and data protection
- Broad understanding of privacy governance, risk management and compliance principles
- Strong Organisational / prioritisation skills
- Confident Presentation skills
- Higher level IT experience in MS office
- Creative and commercially aware problem solving skills and approach
- Self-reliance and organisation
- High attention to detail
- Effective team work and thought leadership within any activity
- Able to maintain confidential information
- Able to work effectively and efficiently with ambiguity
