Our client, one of Cornwall’s leading chartered surveyors are seeking an experienced Administrator to join on a full-time basis, working from their offices in the heart of Truro.
This position would lend itself to an individual with previous experience, who is comfortable working independently to ensure the surveyors have all the administrative support they need to continue performing at a high level.
The Role:
- £22,000 per annum starting salary, with a performance review conducted after 6 months which can see an increase in salary of up to £25,00 per annum
- Monday to Friday working week
- 8:30am - 5pm hours
- Bonus Scheme eligibility after 3-month probation period - equating to £200 - £300 per quarter dependent on performance
- Holiday allowance increases dependent on length or service - 22 days in the first year, 30 days by year 5
- Once fully trained, options to work from home 1 day per week on a Monday
Job Purpose:
- As an integral part of the team, you will provide a high level of administrative support to the Directors, Surveyors, Operations and Marketing Manager and colleagues in an effective and efficient manner
- Ability to work under pressure when required, whilst consistently delivering first-rate customer service both face to face and via telephone
- Maintaining business relationships with Estate Agents, Solicitors, Lenders, and Panel Appointments
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to react quickly to the changing demands and priorities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and as a team player
Main Duties:
- Enquiries - Dealing with queries independently and directing client enquiries to relevant colleagues
- Appointments - Arrange Surveys, manage diaries and provide surveyors with the appropriate documentation for appointments
- Typing - Audio Type detailed, sometimes very large surveys and reports accurately
- Scanning and Electronic Filling - All currently work is stored electronically. It will be your responsibility to scan and allocate any paper documents to jobs
- Invoicing - No accounts training is required, however, attention to detail is very important
