**Nathan Tedder**Our client, a large IT consultancy, are currently looking to recruit for a Cyber Security Consultant to join their team on an initial 6 month contract; outside IR35. The Cyber Security Consultant will oversee and implement numerous vulnerabilities and improvements highlighted in a recent change of management and from third party assessment reports.

The Cyber Security Consultant will be required to work closely with C-Level executives and have great stakeholder management skills.

**Required experience for the Cyber Security Consultant**:

- Experience in a cyber or information security role, with a good understanding of information security risk management and principles. A good level of technical security knowledge and understanding.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining recognised information security standards such as ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials.
- The Cyber Security Consultant will have the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business.
- Practical experience of developing and implementing policies, processes and procedures as part of an information security programme, including training and awareness to employees at all levels.
- Experience of carrying out assurance reviews of information security controls, producing clear reports that are effective and help the business manage risks effectively. Clear aptitude to appraise control frameworks from both a technical and non-technical point of view.
- Proven experience of incident management response from triage to resolution.
