**Accountancy Tutor**

An exciting position has become available for an **Accountancy Tutor** to join a friendly team based in London. Full time or part time hours are available, hours are negotiable. You will earn £30000 to £40000, depending on experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic tutor to contribute to an expanding organisation and team with further growth opportunities.

Some evening and weekend work may be required from time to time.

**Role Requirements**
- Proven experience in a previous tutor/assessor role
- Practical experience in an accounting role
- Excel at training, engaging and motivating learners of all ages and backgrounds
- A background in accountancy and qualified to AAT Technician level at minimum
- A1 qualification preferable
- Experience in delivering Functional Skills trainings is preferred, but not essential
- Excellent IT and communication skills with knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts and Excel
- Ability to work in a small team, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines, a high level of commitment and absolute focus on quality of work

**Role Responsibilities**
- Carry out training sessions which engage and enthuse the learners using real-life examples and up to-date teaching methods
- Teaching accounting courses, business administration and functional skills courses
- Managing the apprentices on the apprenticeship programme, including meeting with them, reviewing their tasks, assisting with their portfolios and ensuring they are exam ready
- Assess and mark assignments within strict deadlines and guidelines -Multi-tasking and working within a small team to ensure team objectives are met
- Carrying out general office and admin duties

Our client is a small non-profit making organisation which focuses on offering quality Accountancy Trainings and other specialist training courses. Provide short intensive courses as well as longer programmes up to a year.
