Trago’s original store is situated alongside the River Fowey in the beautiful Glyn Valley, on the A38 between Liskeard and Bodmin. Inside are two floors equating to over 18,500 square meters filled with the South West’s largest selection of home and leisure products - over 180,000 in all.

**Job Type**

Full Time - 39.5 hours per week working 5 days from 7

**Salary**

£10.57 per hour plus OTE bonus scheme and generous staff discount

**Responsible to**

Grounds / Maintenance Manager

**Role Summary**
- To work flexibly, to ensure the maintenance of the site and its property, undertaking such other activities to maximise sales, business efficiency and customer satisfaction.

**Key Relationships**
- Grounds/maintenance manager, site manager and colleagues

**Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities**
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the site and its property
- Ensuring site defects are corrected in an efficient manner
- Applies initiative to problem solving in relation to building and equipment repairs
- Taking instruction from site and store management in relation to priority of repairs and improvements
- Dealing with any maintenance related paperwork and record keeping
- Ensuring all work is completed effectively and in a timely manner
- Multi skilled in performance of duties
- Excellent skills in at least one trade
- Assisting the company and colleagues by carrying out such duties away from usual areas of work as may reasonably be required

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**Experience**
- Previous maintenance experience required

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent tradesman and problem solving skills
- Familiarity with and competence in relation to common tools and equipment
