We're looking for a Dining Assistant to join the team at Lakeside Care Home, part of the Standish Care Village.

**Dining Assistant**

We’re looking for someone to join our team to provide dining room support at mealtimes and general laundry and cleaning duties as part of a fantastic team here at Lakeside Care Home. This is a combined role which would be suited to someone who enjoys variety and a fast-paced environment.

**Role and responsibilities**
- Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of cleaning implementation and delivery
- Implement action to meet and maintain cleaning standards
- Evaluate standards of cleaning competence
- Ensure the residents’ rights are protected
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
- Develop effective working relationships with the other employees within the service
- Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
- Take responsibility for your own professional development through performance and development reviews and undertake any relevant training
- To maintain cleaning skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time to time be required to maintain that currency of practice

**Working hours**: Full-time, working alternate weekends
