Project Support Worker Vacancy

A well respected housing provider based in the Hertfordshire area are looking to recruit a Project Support Worker to join their team. This is a temporary contract for around three months and you will be required to work 35 hours per week.

Hours:

- 35 hours per week

Shifts: Monday - Friday 12-8pm working every other weekend

Duration:Temporary - Three months ongoing

Location:Watford, Hertfordshire

Main duties of the role:

- Working with a caseload of young people in their own accommodation ages 16-25
- Dealing with young people suffering from mental health issues and drug and alcohol misuse
- Carrying out support plans and risk assessments
- Maintaining accurate and up to date records
- Actively encouraging and facilitating activities to engage and involve the young people
- Promoting independence at all times
- Adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
- Updating notes and records ensuring they are concise and accurate
- This role will involve lone working

Essential requirements:

- An enhanced DBS from within the last year or willingness to obtain one
- Experience working with vulnerable young people in a supported living environment
- Experience in a support/care background and the ability to carry out support plans
- Good IT skills with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
