Working days e.g. Mon-Fri or flexible across 7 days. Virtual working would be considered.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:
- The post holder will work across brief and longer-term work, delivering the iThrive model working closely with colleagues within other parts of the CAMHS service.
- They will liaise with wider CAMHS and a range of external agencies such as Children’s Social Care, Education, Youth Offending Services, Police, young people’s substance misuse services, GP’s, and adult mental health services and attend to meetings as necessary.
- The post holder will offer initial assessments and brief interventions of up to 6 sessions to a range of children, adolescents and their families where there are mild to moderate mental health problems for the young person and carry a caseload of more complex cases.
- Additional enhancement is paid for staff shifts worked for the on-call duty rota.
**Core duties will include**:
- Initial assessment of children and adolescents where there is suspected mild to moderate mental illness.
- Responsible for implementing and coordinating a range of evidence-based interventions, of up to 6 sessions, which will support the young person’s recovery.
- Liaison with partner agency colleagues providing mental health expertise, pre
- referral consultation and training.
- Expert signposting to other appropriate resource within the community
- Recognition of cases needing other specialist services within CAMHS.
- The post holder will have clinical responsibility for ensuring CPA metrics are up to date and throughput of the caseload, working with case management in conjunction with the Clinical Team Manager and their clinical supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with parents/families/carers to promote the emotional and physical wellbeing of the young person.
- Ensure that all assessments, planning and treatments are sensitive to the cultural, religious and gender identity needs of the population served.
- Work collaboratively with the young person’s school and any other agencies involved in supporting the emotional and physical wellbeing of the young person.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, reviews, strategy meetings, CETRs and other professional meetings as appropriate.
- Generate and maintain accurate assessment and treatment records for individual patients using the Trust wide electronic patient record system.
- Responsible for updating information to reflect an accurate up to date record of patient’s presentation and current needs and compile written reports as required.
