**Role Title - Retail Assistant - 4.5 hours (minimum)**
DCK is one of the world's leading fashion jewellery companies, working with many well-known retailers and high street fashion brands including M&S, Matalan, Tesco, Next, Boots and more. We're currently growing rapidly and opening more new business in the coming months and are looking for experienced retail assistants to join us in this exciting phase of our company.
Our retail assistants are key to our business and provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise with the management teams of the brands that we work with. In return, we provide flexible working arrangements, competitive pay and great benefits such as our uniform allowance of at least £25 per month, depending on contract length.
This role will cover the zone of New Forest and you may be required to travel to different locations within your zone. The base town is Guernsey. We are looking for those who are available to start within an immediate start and 4 weeks.
You must be available work on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and you can complete your contractual hours when the store is open so both morning and evening work are eligible for this role.
In addition to your core hours we require all colleagues to provide an additional 50% availability on top of their contracted hours per week that you will be required to work. You are able to choose when and what days you would like the flex hours, giving you the opportunity to increase your working week when convenient for you.
You will be working for a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching, communications and ongoing support.
Job role
- You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.
- You will complete various instore activities which include:
- merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines
- putting out deliveries of new stock
- maintaining housekeeping standards
- setting up promotional activities
- You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.
- Your appointments will be scheduled for you using our industry-leading scheduling system which you will access on your mobile phone.
- You will need to follow our Health and Safety instructions to ensure that your working environment is free from hazards
**Requirements;**
- Prior experience in a customer facing setting is required, fashion brands are a plus.
- Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred
