UX Researcher

Position Summary
We are looking for a UX Researcher to help us meet the needs of the users of our products from the visually impaired community. Products are within the area of consumer electronics and are including but not limited to display, white goods and mobile.
You will need to be an analytical and creative researcher who is able to design methods that truly grasp the needs of the user. A strong background in successful, accessibility-related UX projects is essential.
Ultimately, your goal will be to help make our products more user-friendly and intuitive.
Role and Responsibilities
The main tasks you are expected to perform include, but are not limited to:
- Use objective methods to design and run research initiatives that aim to obtain key UX insights from the target population.- Research methods may include qualitative and quantitative approaches and will include the analysis and presentation of research data- You may be collaborating with a wider team of designers, engineers and other researchers, mainly based overseas.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential skills are:
- Ability to deploy appropriate research methodologies and techniques, such as those relating to human-computer interaction and psychology.- Significant UX research experience with consumer electronics including but not limited to display, white goods, mobile, etc.- Relevant Bachelors or higher degree
Desirable skills include:
- Korean speaker - the main body of the team will be based in Korea.
Contract Type: Permanent
Job Location: Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey, UK
Hybrid Working: Standard working week will be 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home if preferred
