**This job position is maternity cover until JUNE 2025. With the chance of a full time permanent job position if one becomes available.**

We are a 15-bed residential care home. We are a small home with a big heart. Looking for someone who is enthusiastic, hardworking, honest, reliable, patient, respectful, and kind. But most importantly wants to provide outstanding care to our residents assisting them to be as independent as possible. Must be able to work as part of a team and independently.

Job role includes:

- Providing person centered care
- Ensure you are providing outstanding care
- Assist with all aspects of personal care along with assisting with nutrition, hydration and emotional well-being.
- Administer, store and order medication.
- Adhere to all policy and procedures.
- Report any concerns to seniors or manager
- Use PCS system to document all care provided
- Use Vitalerter (Artificial intelligence) alongside PCS to assist in providing care to the individual.
- Report any safeguarding's to seniors or manager.
- Attend hospital and doctor appointments
- Help the catering staff serve foods and drinks
- Promote independence.
- Assist with laundry.
- Encourage residents to participate in activities

NVQ level 2 is preferred but not required as full in-house training will be given and we will assist where possible for anyone wanting to do their NVQ.

Shifts are: 12hrs

Salary is £12 per hour any overtime work is £13 per hour.

**Qualifications**:

- NVQ in Health and Social Care
- Valid driver's license
- Experience in a care home setting
- Proficiency in providing home care services
- Strong communication skills in English
- Basic IT skills

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
