Here at Opals (part of OCU Group of companies), we are hosting Open Days for Self-Employed Civils Operatives and Gangs to come and meet us, talk about the work we have available and hopefully join us

Based out of Peterborough, we offer excellent rates of pay and can provide tools and a vehicle if required.

The Open Days will be hosted at Opals Office, 1 Morley Way, Woodston, Peterborough, PE2 7BW.

**Requirements**:

- Preferably a 2/3 person Gang but we can place singular Operatives in existing Gangs if required
- Must hold a valid NRSWA card with units for excavation and reinstatement
- Must hold a valid Smart Awards card
- Experience of carrying out excavations within the BT Duct Network
- Experience working with design schematics, duct diagrams and works instructions
- Preferably hold existing BT Openreach accreditations or have previous BT Openreach experience
- Ability to produce, update and interpret records of daily work logs, data recordings and network design maps
- Adhere to all Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental policies
- Accreditation in underground working desirable
- An excavator licence is desirable but not essential
