**Welder/Fabricator**

You will work 39 Hours, Monday-Friday. Overtime may be available depending on workload.

**Role Requirements**
- Proven fabrication competency skills and certification (NVQ or similar qualification).
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision and to deadlines.
- Able to work using own initiative and as part of a team.
- Forklift truck qualification/licence desirable.

**Role Responsibilities**
- MIG Welding & General fabrication.
- Set up and operate fabricating machines such as Press Brake, Guillotine and Drill to bend, cut, punch or otherwise form and assemble metal components.
- Study engineering drawings to determine materials requirements and task sequences.
- Responsible for adhering to Health and Safety standards and Policy.
- Maintains equipment, tools and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items and ensuring safety.
- Completes necessary documentation e.g. welding inspections, time sheets etc.
- Co-ordinates with other trades to ensure work is completed as safely as possible.
