**About Us**
Owen House Wedding Barn and accommodation is a family run venue set in the heart of the
Cheshire countryside. Established for 10 years we have grown into one of Cheshire’s most popular wedding locations.
We are looking for an experienced Events Manager who has passion and endless enthusiasm to help make our couples wedding perfect in every way from the moment they view the venue until they say I do.
**Role Requirements**
5 years plus experience in a diverse mix of roles in the events/ hospitality industry
Preferred social media skills
Well presented, confident, passionate, friendly and able to create a great impression
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective working relationships
Ability to demonstrate flexibility and resilience
Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure
Commitment to providing a high level of service with a strong proactive focus on detail and reporting to the family owners
Good written and spoken English
Own transport
**Role Responsibilities**
Sales
- conduct wedding venue viewings, answer wedding enquiries, send brochures, take payments and process contracts
To oversee and manage the weddings, working alongside external wedding suppliers and being the main point of contact for the day
Working closely with the staff to ensure the weddings run smoothly, and with great attention to detail
Leading and managing people within the team and facilitating their personal development
Identifying and resolving operational issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives
Help organise specific marketing events at Owen House to showcase our facilities
Ensuring health and safety requirements are met, including adhering to all Covid-19 safety requirements while still required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
