**The Role**:
This role offers an opportunity to develop further, already gained CASS experience, and become a Subject Matter Expert on Client Money & Asset reconciliations and other Client Asset Sourcebook (CASS) related matters inclusive of initiatives, projects, and change.
**Job description**:
- Ensure all daily CASS reconciliation tasks are completed in line with CASS regulations, internal policies, procedures, and controls
- Participate in, and execute oversight of others, in the production and completion of daily client money and asset reconciliations, with treatment of areas such as free client money, dividends, unallocated and unidentified client money.
- Ensure controls are constantly evaluated and evolved to meet the demands of our changing business while adhering to FCA CASS rules
- Execute prudent and timely judgement in escalation of errors, potential or near misses
- Execute detailed analysis of discrepancies and evidence actions taken in our books and records
- Contribute towards the ongoing development of our approach and methodologies in relation to client money and asset reconciliations methodologies
- Maintain adherence to Compliance and Regulatory obligations
- Participate in projects and change
- Participate in CASS industry forums to demonstrate ongoing professional development and maintain best practice from industry insights
**Essential skill set**:
- Have an accountancy background or part/fully qualified
- In-depth knowledge of CASS 6 and 7 reconciliation rules
- Previous experience of completing internal and external client money reconciliations, including using the standard methodology
- Detailed knowledge of completing an internal and external client asset reconciliation, including experience of using ICR check
- Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail and accuracy of CASS reconciliations
- Control environment mindset
**Desirable skill set**:
- Knowledge of ISA & SIPP platform business
- Product knowledge of equities, bonds, funds & structured notes
- CASS - client money and assets regulations
- COBs - conduct of business regulations

**Salary**: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
