Production Planner

You'll be supporting the Planning Manager with the management of both production and materials planning while ensuring inventory levels are kept below required levels and accurate records kept.

Working with an in-house ERP system, you'll be up to speed with systems. Some knowledge of SAP would be useful as they are moving over to this in the future.

Day to day duties and responsibilities:

- Assist with monthly stock takes
- Develop and maintain detailed schedules in collaboration with Operations.
- Updating of schedules from daily production figures
- Ensure Ascman is kept up to date regarding job schedules.
- Actively participate in Planning meeting.
- Update and distribute reports as required.
- Liaise with customer services regarding stock and order enquiries.
- Assist in accepting customer orders in the system.
- Organise and schedule outwork to meet customer requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects
- Any other reasonable task requested by senior management.
- Deputise for Planning manager as required
- Assist Planning Manager with:

- Ready on Time in Full%
- Inventory levels of raw materials, WIP and finished goods
- Acceptance of customer orders within set time frame
- Stock accuracy

You'll also have great customer services experience as well as basic finance experience with the ability to provide accurate stock details. Some purchasing duties in relation to stock levels.

Hours: 8-5 (1 hour lunch)

4pm Friday finish

Some negotiation on hours.

Site based role with on-site parking

**Experience**:

- Production Scheduling: 1 year (preferred)
