**About the Role**:
Humly is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a primary school in Accrington on a full-time basis for one term. In this role, you will support a Year 5 class, assisting the class teacher with daily lesson delivery and classroom management. You will also work closely with individual students and small groups, ensuring they remain engaged and on track with their learning.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Classroom Support**: Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons, managing resources, and overseeing daily classroom activities.
- **Focused Student Support**: Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning objectives and provide targeted support.
- **Encouragement and Motivation**: Help students stay engaged, encouraging positive behaviour and active participation in lessons.
- **Collaborative Approach**: Work closely with teaching staff to monitor and support students’ progress and wellbeing.

**What You Need**:

- **Experience in a Teaching Assistant Role**: Previous experience in an SEN or primary school setting is beneficial.
- **Strong Communication Skills**: Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- **Patience and Adaptability**: A positive and flexible approach to supporting diverse student needs.
- **Enhanced DBS Check**: Required for this role.
