**Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Doris Jones to recruit Home Care Assistants for their home care service around Southend.**

**The shift patterns vary with both full time and part time hours available and will require day, evening and weekend working. Shift times can be discussed at interview stage.**

Doris Jones understands the importance of balancing the care and support their service users depend upon, with gentle guidance on how to be as physically independent as they can. By combining traditional care services with expertise in physiotherapy andrehabilitation, Doris Jones can help their service users gain greater control over their lives and stay safely in the place they are happiest. There are only a handful of homecare providers in the Southend-On-Sea area rated outstanding by the CQC and DorisJones are the biggest.

Doris Jones are looking to recruit Home Care Assistants to join their team to help frail and elderly people live safely and independently in the place they're happiest - their own home. As a Home Care Assistant, duties might include a variety of tasks, fromwashing, dressing and assisting clients with medication, to helping prepare their meals, shopping and tidying the home. You might also attend appointments with clients or accompany them on trips out and about.
