**Job Overview**
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Members to join our vibrant breakfast and street food cafe. As a key part of our culinary team, you will assist in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring that our high standards of food safety and quality are consistently met. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting.
**Duties**
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
- Follow food safety protocols to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Ensure that meals are prepared according to specifications.
- Participate in catering events by helping to set up and serve food as needed.
- Maintain organisation in the kitchen by keeping workstations clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- A keen interest in culinary arts and meal preparation.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Previous experience of using delivery platforms (Uber, Deliveroo etc) is advantageous but not essential.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic kitchen setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
