We are looking for a **Cleaner/Domestic** to join our existing team at **St Georges Court Care Home in Cambridge**, you will be part of a supportive and welcoming team providing physical, emotional, and social support to our residents. You will make a difference every day by engaging in meaningful activities with residents as well as promoting independence, choice, dignity and respect at all times. Delivering great care is central to everything we do.

Excelcare is a family-owned care home group established for over 32 years. We provide support to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities and mental health issues. By joining us you will become one of the ‘family’ and in return for your dedication and hard work you can expect:
**What to Expect**:

- Salary: £10.90 per hour.
- Full time and part time vacancies available.
- Working from Monday - Sunday. You will be required to work alternate weekends. Shifts to be discussed at interview.

**What you will need**:

- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and enthusiastic with a good sense of humour
- Politeness at all times when dealing with the people we care for as well as Colleagues

**Key duties are**:

- Ensure the clean and hygienic maintenance of the Home to a high standard
- Clean all allocated bedrooms, including furniture, fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment(sanitary and other)
- Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety rules (COSHH)
- Follow guidelines for the control of germs and infestations and universal waste control and infection control precautions
