**Summary**
We have a brand-new opportunity for a SQL Database Developer to work with a growing company based in the Northwest. We have worked with this company for many years and they provide a really good learning opportunity for young developers to hone their skillsand learn new technology platforms.
We can consider graduates for these roles, as long as you have seen SQL programming in your degree (probably within your project) but we are ideally looking for someone with a little bit of commercial experience.
The company
This company are a Data focussed company - they solve their clients data problems using a variety of tools and technologies and generally focus on large scale data projects including migrations, upgrade and full system builds.
One of the primary systems they use is Talend, they will provide full training and a formal qualification in Talend for all staff. They will also offer training in Azure and Python as well as version control if you have not used these before so its an amazingopportunity for a someone with some experience to take that next step in their career. They are an Azure partner so have the full training and certifications in Azure available. They do have a big focus on learning and development so also supplement this withtheir own internal training materials and library.
They have an amazing client base, including some really big names with HUGE amounts of Data stored in complex data systems.
They are based in the North West and would ideally like to see people in their brand new office 1 day per week but they are also happy to look at people remotely
**The Role**
This role involves a lot of SQL, Data Migrations and ETL process and you will be working with a wide variety of data sources, including CRM, ERP systems as well as Databases (Relational and non-relational) and Data Lakes.
You will be working to build new Data Warehouses and Data Lakes for clients, help to manage their data processes. One of the primary objectives is to take a variety of disparate data sources and unify them to create something that can deliver exceptional advanceanalytics and therefore increase customer revenues.
**Requirements**:
- Skills in SQL Programming, stored procedures ETC.
- ETL Skills - can be from any tool such as SSIS
- Bonus - knowledge of Talend - but full training can be provided.
