**This is an exciting opportunity to manage our newly launched soft furnishings category**

As our **Product Manager**, you will effectively manage all areas of product responsibility and provide marketing support throughout the organisation.

**Your key responsibilities as our Product Manager will include**:

- Maintaining full understanding of the fabrics and soft furnishings market and competitor activity to identify areas of the product mix to develop
- Maintaining a good understanding of the supply chain and sourcing of fabric
- Owning and developing all areas of the marketing mix in respect to the allocated product category(s)
- Owning the Product Plan for the allocated product category(s)
- Using expert knowledge of the product to enable the training of others internally and externally
- Developing the product and ranging appropriate for all retail partners and approved stockists
- Keeping track and within the agreed cost budget
- Identifying and actioning with the Sourcing Manager any cost savings throughout each budgeted year
- Setting KPI’s on stock. Tracking the stock position to ensure we are holding the right stock to grow sales
- Owning sales analysis for allocated product category across all distribution channels, reporting and making product recommendations to the Brand Manager

**What we are looking for in our Product Manager**:

- Degree-level education
- Knowledge of the sourcing of fabric, têxtiles and soft furnishings
- Product/marketing experience
- An excellent communicator with competence in presenting
- An excellent judgement of colour
- Strong individual creative ability with versatility
- The ability to work both proactively and reactively
- Strong competence in Excel, Powerpoint, Word and (ideally) a basic understanding of Photoshop
- An enthusiastic and very well organised individual
- The ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to take instruction well, understand a brief and take feedback
- A quick learner
- Competence to work on own initiative
- The ability to build strong relationships
- Licensing experience would be an added advantage
