Basic salary**:£85,000 - £115,000 + Commission (OTE £300,000+)**

**About the Role**

GDS Group is seeking an experienced VP of Sales/Sales Director, to run our UK based sponsor sales department. You will be responsible for leading our Bristol based sales team to meet and exceed their sales targets, from hiring to developing a high performing sales function. You will also be accountable for creating and executing sales and ultimately delivering the budgeted sales revenue target.

**About the role**
- Lead a department of Business Development Executives and Sales Managers who are responsible for the full sales cycle, delivering sponsors for our world class digital events
- Lead by example, building your own client base and growing revenues YoY
- Responsible for the training and developing of the team to ensure maximum performance
- Ensure delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual team targets
- Act as a point of client escalation for the sponsor sales division
- Conduct and action 1-2-1 performance meetings with your team, making sure that appropriate training and mentoring is in place.
- Responsibility for the day to day leadership of your team and office and ultimately week to week revenue performance of your office
- Conduct interviews for new staff coming into the business.

**About You**
- Strong track-record of sales leadership in a fast paced, inside sales environment
- Experience in managing sales teams of 20+
- Demonstrate superior ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation including executive and C-Level
- Solid experience with CRM software, Salesforce & Hubspot ideally
- Positive and energetic style with a real desire to grow and improve sales teams
- Great communication and leadership skills with demonstrable experience of delivering group and individual training
- Strong track record of sales performance as an individual contributor
- Ability to communicate at board level and motivate at junior level
