Sports Coordinator

**Location**: Smallwood Manor Hospital, Uttoxeter, GAU / ECA wards

**Salary**: Competitive salary

**Hours**:37.5 hours per week

**Role Requirements/Specification**:

- To have the skills to provide quality assessment and treatment for young people admitted to the wards.
- To be an active participant in multi-disciplinary meetings/ discussions.
- To be a key member of support to ward staff, including training, debrief etc
- CAMHS experience desirable
- Qualified to assess and supervise service users and hospital staff in using the fitness suite to a safe standard.
- To coordinate physical activities for young people admitted to the inpatient units, using facilities available within the grounds.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated person

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**:

- Level 2 Fitness Instructing Qualification or similar.
- Support the service to provide a transformative Integrated Care Pathway for patients which will innovate CAMHS practice

**Desirable**:

- Experience of organising fitness programmes.

**The Setting**:
You will be based at our beautiful, 50-acre estate in North Staffordshire: a truly therapeutic environment for the young people and an amazing place to work. You will have access to the training academy, on-site restaurant, health and leisure facilities including gym and 25 meter swimming pool, all within an expansive country estate.

A bus service will be available, running between Smallwood Manor and Uttoxeter train station. Free on-site parking.
