**Job title**:General Assistant (Sandfield Lodge, Part Time, 20 Hours Per Week)

**Salary**: £24,027 - £24,790 (pro rata)

**Location**: Children's Homes City Wide

**The Role**:

- The General Assistant will be based at a children's home: you will be required to clean and tidy the home to a high standard
- As the General Assistant, you will be required to undertake general laundry and ironing duties
- Within the Childrens home, the General Assistant will be responsible for the safe storage of cleaning materials
- There will be occasions when the General Assistant will be required to prepare meals - a Food Hygiene certificate is desirable for the role however, you must be committed to undertake training
- As the General Assistant, you will be working as part of a team and will advise when cleaning stocks are low
