Production Assembly Operative

Venatu Recruitment are working with a busy and well-established client in the Leeds, LS10 area who are looking to recruit Production Assembly Operatives on a temp to perm basis.

Mon to Thurs - 7.30 am to 16.00 pm and Fri - 7.30 am to 15.00 pm

Pay is £10.50 to £11.62 depending on experience

Immediate starts

As a Production Assembly Operative you will:

- Preparation including; metal drilling, tapping, and assembling of products within our manufacturing scope.
- Experience of using Power tools
- Assembly fitting in the Finishing Shop
- Read written instructions correctly to perform task in hand.
- Previous experience of mechanical assembly wiring (would be advantageous but not essential)

Responsibilities include:

- Adhering to strict Health and Safety regulations
- Notifying Team Managers and/or other staff members of any type of hazard which the post holder area staff are unable to deal with
- Ensuring a clean and tidy workspace
- Any other tasks assigned to you by your site manager
- The ability to communicate and work effectively
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent timekeeping
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Thorough attention to detail
