**Safety Health and Environment Administrator - Part-Time (25 hours a week)**

Are you an experienced Administrator looking for a new challenge and would like exposure of our SHE Function within Maritime Services? We currently have a vacancy for a part - time (25 hours a week) Safety Health and Environment (SHE) Administrator at our site in Portsmouth.

As a SHE Administrator, you will be supporting administration within the SHE Function. You will work closely with the Team Leads, Occupational Health Manager to support Managers and the overall SHE Function.

You will interface with the relevant stakeholders and Teams to ensure all administration needs are met to allow the smooth running of the Administration Function, ensuring strong governance by all Administrators.

This is a position for an experienced administrator with a good understanding and therefore governance of the systems, policies and processes that are used in all aspects of the SHE Function.

No two days are the same, as it will be a varied and busy role but will provide opportunity to work on different projects and to progress your career within the SHE Function and the wider BAE Business.

**Your main responsibilities as a SHE Administrator will involve**:

- Undertaking a range of clerical and administrative duties within the department to ensure the smooth running of the function
- Using data and more tactical data to determine where cover is needed and placing appropriately in line with the business requirements
- Managing the administration of medical bookings effectively and accurately
- Dealing with customers and suppliers and exchanges information in order to clarify a situation, e.g. placing orders, arranging appointments, deliveries, etc
- Acting as the administration focal point for the area
- Collating and extracting data and produces routine reports, schedules, summaries for internal circulation or for customers and suppliers
- Supporting filing documents and keeping filing systems up to date so that information can be readily retrieved

**Your skills and qualifications**:

- Good Administrator skills
- Experience of working in an administrator role
- Must have experience of working in a confidential environment
- Good Microsoft Office Skills

You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, being able to liaise confidential with those around you with our key stakeholder. You will regularly exchange information with peers, superiors and sub ordinates. You will also have excellent personal organisation and prioritisation skills, with high attention to detail.
