Deli Supervisor

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised work area at all times.
- Assist customers by providing information about products, making recommendations, and taking orders efficiently.
- Monitor stock levels of deli products and assist in inventory management to ensure freshness and availability.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Supervise staff when necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of food production.
- Assist in training new staff members on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

**Skills**
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficient in food preparation techniques with experience in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities when supervising others.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in bartending or managing kitchen operations is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £12.70-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
