Are you interested in supporting young people with a range of SEND within an educational setting. Why not join the team of educators working through Protocol.

We provide long-term support staff to mainstream Primary and Secondary schools across Newcastle and North Tyneside.

Within this role you will be interacting with young people who have a range of SEND. You need to be comfortable providing personal and educational support.

We do not require you to have any previous experience working within a school however it would be beneficial if you have either personal or professional experience interacting with SEND students.

We find those who have previously been youth workers, carers, sports coaches transfer well into an educational setting. Furthermore Psychology, nursing and mental health graduates have great knowledge in relevant fields.

**Requirements**:

- Can commit to the follow availability: Monday to Friday (8:30-3:30)
- Has the right to work in the UK.
- Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
