**Detailed job description
**Overall purpose**:
Amberstone provides integrated security solutions through the provision of technology products and manned guarding resources. **Main duties / key responsibilities**:
To manage and control all stock with the tech department. The Stores person will assist the Regional Service Manager, Project Manager and Service Desk Manager in delivering exceptional performance and excellent customer service. Providing a high level of support to deliver to the customers’ requests.

**The key areas of delivery are**:

- Ensure the stores and test area in a clean and tidy condition.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in a safe and responsible manner.
- Replenish and maintain agreed stock levels for common consumables and service parts in line with RSM requirements.
- Tech Department PPE Management
- Order and issue any specialist test equipment and tools as instructed for new starters by Head of Service
- Coordinate safe disposal in line with current regulations of all electrical equipment that is returned to the Mansfield Office by the Service Department.
- To manage the returns process correctly for faulty equipment from our engineers to repair and re-issue.
- To ensure that any incorrectly ordered or unwanted items are returned for credit.
- To produce live accurate stockholding records in CASH across our estate for inspection when requested. Stock for all the Tech Department.
- Check stock against original inventory following technical build, and coordinate the delivery to site or engineers with the project manager to ensure smooth transition for project start.
- Order and issue any hand and power tools as instructed for new starters by Head of Installation.
- Work with Head of Installation and Project Management team to ensure smooth transition of all parts and consumables into Europe to ensure smooth delivery and on time delivery of projects.
- Assist Project Management team with efficient collection of any parts from sites and ensure safe delivery back to the warehouse, ensure these are documented and stored for re-use.
- Work with Regional service managers and main each engineers Van stock to the correct quantities and products.
