**Chef de Partie**

Salary £23K - £25.5K DOE. Generous pension and wellbeing package, free lunch, free uniform, onsite fitness suite, 25 days holiday plus bank holiday, parking. 40 hours per week on annual basis.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our exclusive, prestigious educational client to work with a friendly established team in their state of the art modern kitchen. You will have responsibility for the preparation,organisation and portioning of the food at the school meeting customer expectation, food and hygiene standards set by the Chef Manager.

As the Chef de Partie your role will be to successfully produce and deliver, to the highest possible standard, food to pupils, staff, parents and visitors. The Chef de Partie will work with the Chef Manager to develop the food offer at the school throughthe introduction, innovation and interest working to the benefit and wellbeing of the pupils and the promotion of a well-balanced lifestyle.

As Chef de Partie you will be responsible for the operation of a kitchen section (i.e. desert or hot section) where you will produce suggestions to use by the Chef Manager for inclusion in the three or four menu cycles of varied and interesting dishes. TheChef de Partie will take responsibility for the kitchen section and support the Chef Manager with the development and motivation of the team promoting efficiency, budget awareness, school standards and commitment to modern simple fresh cooking.

Our long established client is one of the most successful independent schools in Sussex with outstanding academic results achieved in a driven, inspirational and community lead environment. The school is situated in fabulous grounds just 5 minutes' walkfrom Burgess Hill station with parking also on site. Having gone through a major refurbishment in the last year, the kitchen is modern and well furnished with state of the art equipment. The team is made up of 11 who are responsible for producing breakfast,lunch and dinner to approximately 700 day pupils, 55 borders, staff and visitors.

**Package**:
Up to £25.5K per annum
