**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, while upselling additional items when appropriate.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes served.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of menu items and improve service skills.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn about food preparation techniques.
- Proven ability to provide outstanding guest services in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance the dining experience for guests.
