**Morrison Energy Services **is currently looking to recruit **a **Trainee Bid Coordinator** to work for our Transmission Networks division in **Annesley, Nottinghamshire**.

As the **Trainee Bid Coordinator** you will be part of the MESTN Bids Team** **who are responsible for managing the prequalification and bid process, winning work for the the business**.**

MESTN work in the high and low voltage transmission and distribution markets delivering overhead line refurbishment and new build projects for clients such as National Grid, Scottish Power and Western Power Distribution.

**As the Trainee Bid Coordinator** **your duties & responsibilities will be**:

- Manage all third party opportunity sites and client portals
- Take management of Prequalification Questionnaires (PQQ), liaising with relevant internal stakeholders to write and complete them by the client deadline
- Manage the Knowledgebase library, keeping it up to date with relevant historical submission information including; bid question responses, PQQ question responses, case studies and photos
- Assist the bid manager with proposal management responsibilities on larger tenders. Activities to include, but not limited to; assisting with creation and formatting of templates for storyboarding, write tender responses which you are allocated, assisting with the formatting and proof reading of the tender response document and creating suitable process / organogram / graphics diagrams for use within the bid response document
- Where required, assist the Bid Manager with research and analysis for the capture phase of selected opportunities
- Participate as a member of pink (draft) and red (final) review teams, reading and analysing storyboards and question responses respectively, providing constructive feedback to the bid manager
- Setup Bid Folders for new opportunities
- Manage the bids folder for auditing purposes, ensuring that for each stage of governance there is an appropriate authorisation from the relevant Senior Management level

***Skills & Knowledge Requirements (Essential)**
- Effective communicator
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Good eye for detail and quality of documents

**Skills & Knowledge Requirements (Desirable)**
- Excellent IT skills, particularly MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Visio
