**HGV 1: £34,944.00 per annum**

**HGV 2: £33,686.00 per annum**

Hammond Transport is an established quality transport and logistics company based in Essex. We have a strong presence delivering into London and are FORS Gold and CLOCS accredited. We are Dedicated Transport specialists and have a diverse client base withsome high-profile clients working within the Event and Exhibition, Rail, Construction and Manufacturing industries.

Due to expansion, we are looking for a professional HGV Class 1 and a professional HGV Class 2 Driver. **What will the HGV Driver be doing?**
- Delivering goods on behalf of our direct customers to London and around the UK.
- Keeping on top of customers’ requirements.
- Communicating clearly with the transport office.
- Complying with the laws set out by the DVSA.

**_This HGV Driver role involves early starts, late finishes and some nights away. _**

**Person Specification - HGV Drivers**:
We will only accept qualified, experienced drivers with full driver CPC and a strong can-do work ethic.
- An experienced and enthusiastic HGV Class 1 and HGV Class 2 Driver required with a safety first, can-do attitude.
- Excellent knowledge of London and the UK road network.
- Good checkable work history and references.
- Full Driver CPC.
- Must have your own reliable transport to get to our depot in Billericay, Essex.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer care skills.
- Experience in the safe moving and transporting of varied cargo.
- Must be presentable, punctual, and reliable.

**Salary & Positions Available**:

- **HGV Class 1 Driver**:
Basic salary of £34,944.00, with potential to earn up to £46,570.00 plus dependant on bonus and Overtime when available which is **NOT GUARANTEED.**
- **HGV Class 2 Driver**:
Basic salary of £33,686.00 with potential to earn up to £44,136.00 plus dependant on bonus and Overtime when available which is **NOT GUARANTEED.**
