Therefore, we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our fantastic team of 10 hardworking, friendly people.

Responsibilities include:

- Receive deliveries from suppliers and check stock received
- Safely store incoming stock, load bulk locations and replenish pick locations in accordance with the stock management procedure
- Pick and pack orders in a timely manner, assist with loading carriers
- Carry out housekeeping tasks and ensure the warehouse is always kept in a neat and tidy condition
- Observe and adhere to health & safety requirements
- Hold colleagues to account regarding behaviour which puts their own, or others’, health & safety at risk
- Observe standard checks when using equipment such as the forklift truck
- Call customers to arrange order deliveries
- Advise the Warehouse Supervisor of any task errors or other issues
- Advise the Warehouse Stock Controller of any stock damage or shortfalls
- Suggest improvements to the Warehouse Supervisor and work collaboratively to implement them
- Identify waste in any area of the business and action proposed improvements or report the waste to management team
- Attend daily focus session with warehouse team, Warehouse Supervisor & Warehouse Manager

- Are highly proactive and have a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Have previously held a similar role or are familiar with how a warehouse runs.

This is a physical role which involves manual handling, lifting and being on your feet for most of the day. Counterbalance experience is preferred but not essential. Good numeracy skills are essential and should be confident using a keyboard/computer.

Please note basic wage can be increased upon successfully completing training during the probationary period and further training on specific tasks

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00-£13.30 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
